Celebrate Armenia! Festival Returns to Boston Heritage Park
Celebrate Armenia! brings culture to Armenian Heritage Park

Celebrate Armenia!, a cultural festival honoring Armenian Independence Day, will take place September 19, 2026, at Armenian Heritage Park on Boston's Greenway. The daylong event returns for its second year, featuring Armenian music, dance, food and storytelling for audiences of all ages.
The program runs from 1 p.m. to evening, with activities including folktales shared by children's author Meghri Dervartanian, performances by young dancers and singers from local Armenian schools, and a participatory dance session led by Daron Folk Ensemble instructors. Musicians from MIT, Berklee College of Music and Longy School of Music will perform traditional pieces during an afternoon tea service. Evening highlights include reflections on the immigrant experience and performances by Berklee students. The celebration concludes with Music Under the Stars and a reception. Local restaurant anoush'ella will offer Armenian cuisine tastings.
