Armenian Officials Explore Flower Export Opportunities in Netherlands
Armenian officials discuss flower export opportunities with Dutch partners
Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan met with Dutch government and industry representatives in The Hague on June 25 to discuss expanding Armenian flower exports to European markets. The roundtable, organized by Armenia's embassy in the Netherlands, included participants from Dutch agricultural ministries, flower producers, logistics firms, and Royal FloraHolland, Europe's largest flower auction house.
Official discussions focused on establishing long-term trade partnerships, involving more Armenian greenhouse operations in export networks, and identifying available government support programs for the agricultural sector. The following day, the delegation visited Royal FloraHolland's headquarters and toured two major Dutch flower producers to learn about auction procedures and explore direct cooperation opportunities between Armenian and Dutch companies.
