Armenian National Committees outline advocacy priorities
Armenian National Committees set priorities for Artsakh, Armenia and diaspora advocacy

The Conference of Armenian National Committees convened in Yerevan and Aghveran from September 25-28, bringing together representatives from the worldwide ANC network operating in roughly 30 countries. Delegates met with Armenian religious and political leadership, including the Catholicos of All Armenians and representatives from the Republic of Artsakh and Armenia's National Assembly.
Key priorities established by the conference include securing the right of return for Artsakh Armenians, recovering prisoners of war, supporting Artsakh's state institutions, protecting cultural heritage, and ensuring international humanitarian assistance. The network also emphasized defending Armenian rights globally, particularly regarding the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem, and strengthening youth engagement in diaspora political life.
Participants discussed Armenia's ongoing negotiations with Turkey and Azerbaijan, regional connectivity proposals, and international involvement in the peace process. The ANCs reaffirmed their commitment to Armenia's independent statehood and the restoration of Armenian rights.
