Matenadaran’s Armenian manuscript exhibition draws 13,000 visitors in Spain
An exhibition of Armenian manuscripts at Spain's National Library attracted approximately 13,000 visitors before concluding and returning to the Matenadaran in Yerevan. The exhibition, titled "Along the Paths of the Spiritual Map: The Art of Armenian Manuscripts," showcased examples of Armenian manuscript art spanning centuries of spiritual and cultural traditions held in the Matenadaran's collections.
The strong attendance demonstrated growing international interest in Armenia's documentary heritage, according to the Matenadaran. The institution plans to continue expanding global access to its collections through similar exhibitions abroad, prioritizing the internationalization of Armenia's cultural materials.
