Armenian FM to Meet EU Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg
Armenian FM set to hold informal talks with European counterparts in Luxembourg
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will participate in informal talks with European Union foreign ministers in Luxembourg on June 15, ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
According to the Council of the European Union's agenda, Mirzoyan will join an informal breakfast meeting with EU ministers before the main council session begins. The meeting reflects deepening diplomatic ties between Armenia and the European Union, following recent high-level contacts between Yerevan and Brussels.
The Foreign Affairs Council, chaired by EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, will address major geopolitical issues including Russia's war in Ukraine, Middle East developments involving Iran, Israel, Lebanon, and Gaza, and EU-China relations. Following the council session, Kallas and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty will co-chair the 11th EU-Egypt Association Council meeting.
