Armenian Deputy PM highlights growing Armenia-US partnership at US Independence Day reception
Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan attended a US Independence Day reception on June 25, where he emphasized the growing strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States. Grigoryan highlighted shared values of freedom, independence, and equality as foundations for bilateral cooperation.
He cited 2025-2026 achievements including a joint declaration signed by Armenia's Prime Minister and Azerbaijan's President in the presence of the US President. Recent visits by US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, along with signed agreements including a Comprehensive Partnership Charter and Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation for the TRIPP transport project, demonstrate deepening ties.
Grigoryan noted that US engagement has contributed to a "new era of peace and stability" in the South Caucasus. He also praised the Armenian-American community for strengthening bonds between the nations.
