An Armenian Ministry of Defense delegation led by Major General Artur Yeroyan visited NATO headquarters in Brussels on June 10-11 to discuss defense cooperation programs and future partnerships. The delegation also participated in a meeting of the European Security and Defense College's Executive Academic Board at the European Commission.

During the visit, Armenian officials presented reforms underway in military education and training. The European Security and Defense College praised Armenia's military educational reforms and endorsed associate partner status for two Armenian institutions: the National Defense Research University and the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy. The proposal now moves to the College's Steering Committee for final approval.

The meetings underscore expanding cooperation between Armenia and European defense institutions, particularly in military education and professional development.
