Armenian Artists Draw Strong Sales at Cyprus Art Fair
Armenian artists draw strong interest at Cyprus Art Fair, most works sold
Five contemporary Armenian artists achieved significant commercial success at the VIMA Art Fair in Limassol, Cyprus, with most exhibited works selling during the event. The artists—Armen Hakobjanyan, Gayane Avetisyan, Astghik Petrosyan, Gohar Sargsyan, and Andronik Khachiyan—were presented at the international fair for the first time through a curated initiative by the hosq Foundation.
The VIMA Art Fair brought together more than 150 artists from 20 countries and 26 galleries across multiple Cyprus cities. The Armenian pavilion attracted considerable interest from international collectors, curators, and gallery representatives. Following the fair, Hakobjanyan's works continue to be displayed at bbf:design studio in Limassol. Curator Khachiyan described the fair as an important platform for showcasing Armenian contemporary art globally, noting strong interest in future collaborations.
