Armenia eyes greater agricultural exports to U.S. market
Armenia's Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan met with Daniel Whitley, Administrator of the Foreign Agricultural Service at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to discuss expanding bilateral agricultural cooperation.
During the meeting, both parties examined opportunities for exporting Armenian agricultural products to American markets. Discussions addressed market access procedures, regulatory requirements, and conditions necessary to facilitate exports. The talks also covered potential business partnerships between private sector companies in agriculture from both nations and ways to develop mutually beneficial trade relationships.
The meeting represents efforts to strengthen economic ties between Armenia and the United States in the agricultural sector.
