Armenia, U.S. Expected to Sign TRIPP Agreement Within Weeks

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that Armenia and the United States are on track to formally sign the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) agreement within weeks. Speaking after a visit by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Mirzoyan said the agreement text has been fully negotiated and only technical procedures remain. The document has already been initialed, with both governments confirming their commitment to moving forward despite regional challenges and previous skepticism from analysts. Following the signing, additional implementation documents—including the charter of the TRIPP company—will still need to be finalized before practical work begins on the ground. Mirzoyan emphasized that both Armenia and the U.S. continue to prioritize the initiative's advancement.
