Armenia's Notations Music Laboratory has received nearly 250 applications from artists and researchers across more than 38 countries for its second annual iteration. The two-week creative residency, organized by the Hosq Foundation, runs July 20 to August 2 under the theme "Rituals" and welcomes participants working in sound, music, multimedia, installations, performance, and research.

The laboratory will select 65 participants, with 70 percent from Armenia and 30 percent internationally. Applications came from across the globe, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Australia, and many other nations. Participants will conclude the residency with the Notations Music Festival on August 1–2, presenting newly created works at the Armenian State Philharmonia and National Gallery of Armenia. The inaugural 2025 laboratory brought together 60 artists and 22 curators, producing 37 creative projects, a documentary film, and a vinyl record.
