Mirzoyan highlights TRIPPโs role in regional connectivity at New York event
Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke at a U.S. government-hosted event in New York on September 23 focused on regional peace and connectivity initiatives. Mirzoyan participated in a panel discussion alongside Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Brendan Hanrahan, with U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff also in attendance.
The event highlighted developments following an August 8 peace summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan, facilitated with U.S. engagement. Mirzoyan emphasized the role of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) in strengthening regional connectivity and unblocking communications in the South Caucasus. He noted concrete achievements in Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership development.
The discussion also addressed investment opportunities in the Trans-Caspian Enterprise Fund, with participation from Georgian, Central Asian, and private sector representatives.
