Armenia Opens Border Crossing to Send Aid to Lebanon
Armenian to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon via Turkey

Armenia's government has temporarily opened the Margara border crossing with Turkey to transport humanitarian aid to Lebanon. The checkpoint will operate from June 12 to June 22, enabling cargo destined for Lebanon to transit Turkish territory more quickly and cost-effectively.
The decision follows working-level discussions between Armenian and Lebanese officials who agreed to explore humanitarian assistance provisions. The Margara crossing, which typically remains closed to regular cross-border traffic, has occasionally been reopened for humanitarian purposes in recent years. This marks another instance of Armenia utilizing the crossing to address regional crises and support neighboring countries in need.
