Armenia, Indonesia Explore Expanded Trade and Industrial Ties
Armenia, Indonesia discuss expanding industrial and trade cooperation
Armenia's Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Indonesia's Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita on July 6 at Russia's INNOPROM international industrial exhibition to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation. The ministers explored opportunities in trade, industrial development, technology exchange, and high value-added manufacturing. Papoyan proposed joint initiatives including industrial zone development, investment projects, and collaborative manufacturing efforts. The discussion also covered Armenia's Crossroads of Peace initiative, which Papoyan said could strengthen regional connectivity, facilitate cargo transportation, and create new trade and investment opportunities. The talks reflect both countries' interest in deepening economic partnerships amid broader regional developments.
