Armenia, US explore AI cooperation, TRIPP and regional connectivity
Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Aryeh Lightstone, Senior Adviser to the US Special Envoy for Peace Missions, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation. The August 5 meeting built on progress made at the Washington Peace Summit held one year prior.
Key topics included artificial intelligence development, particularly Firebird AI's "AI Factory" data center project launching in Armenia. Officials also reviewed trade and economic cooperation initiatives aimed at strengthening Armenia's economic and energy resilience.
The discussion covered regional connectivity prospects and implementation of the TRIPP (Transport and Connectivity) initiative, which aims to improve Armenia's integration into international transport and infrastructure networks. Both sides emphasized their commitment to consolidating peace in the region to unlock development potential.
