Armenia, Netherlands discuss deepening strategic partnership and regional connectivity
Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with newly appointed Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen in Luxembourg on June 15 to discuss expanding bilateral relations. Berendsen congratulated Mirzoyan on Armenia's recent parliamentary elections, which the Armenian minister said reflected citizens' support for strengthened external cooperation. The officials discussed deepening strategic partnership through concrete projects in agreed and new areas, with emphasis on promoting business ties and increasing bilateral trade volume. Mirzoyan outlined Armenia's regional connectivity initiatives, including the TRIPP project, and highlighted progress toward regional cooperation. He noted that peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, with continued efforts focused on its consolidation.
