Armenia and Azerbaijan discuss cross-border electricity cooperation in Lachin
Officials from Armenia's Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy met in Lachin on August 25 to discuss electricity cooperation between the two countries.
The working meeting brought together representatives from Armenia's Electric Power System Operator and Azerbaijan's AzerEnergy to explore potential mechanisms for cross-border energy collaboration. Discussions focused on possibilities for electricity imports and exports, as well as options for interconnecting energy infrastructure across the state border.
The talks represent ongoing efforts by both nations to develop practical mechanisms for regional cooperation in the energy sector.
