Armenia, AMAA to Build Education Complex in Vardenis

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Gary Phillips, president of the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA), to discuss a joint government-AMAA project constructing an education complex in Vardenis. The 700-student-capacity facility is scheduled for construction between 2026 and 2029, following an agreement reached several months prior. Pashinyan emphasized that educational infrastructure development remains a key government priority and stressed the importance of adhering to government-set standards for the project. He also expressed hope for expanded cooperation with AMAA in other areas. The initiative represents ongoing collaboration between Armenia's government and diaspora organizations on infrastructure development.
