ARF Responds to Pashinyan Criticism Over Artsakh Policy
ARF Hai Tahd Central Council statement on Artsakh and democracy

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation's Hai Tahd Central Council issued a statement criticizing Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's approach to the Artsakh issue and democratic governance. The ARF argues that Pashinyan, whose Civil Contract party received less than 50 percent of votes, misunderstands democracy by suppressing dissent from over half a million Armenian citizens who oppose his position that the Karabakh Movement has ended. The statement contends that Pashinyan has threatened to suppress ARF political activity both domestically and in the diaspora, particularly U.S.-based advocacy efforts. The ARF claims Pashinyan's policies have endangered Armenia's security and territorial integrity by accommodating Azerbaijani and Turkish demands. The party pledged to continue advocating for Armenian rights and the people of Artsakh.
