The Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has elected Aramayis Avetisyan as Executive Director, with overwhelming support: 22 votes in favor, zero against, and two abstentions. He assumes the role on August 24, 2026.

Avetisyan, an economist with 13 years of experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, has served as Assistant to Armenia's President since 2022. He previously co-founded and directed the Political Dialogue NGO and worked in telecommunications and textiles.

Outlining his priorities to the board, Avetisyan emphasized strengthening organizational capacity, fostering transparency and accountability, and transitioning toward long-term strategic planning while maintaining Armenia-Diaspora ties as central to the Fund's mission. He recently coordinated the 2025 "Homeland and Eternity" fundraising campaign, which raised approximately $17 millionβ€”30 percent above recent annual averages.
