Ameriabank, ADB Sign $100 Million Agreement to Expand Micro, SME, and Green Finance in Armenia
Ameriabank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a $100 million agreement to expand financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and green finance initiatives in Armenia.
The funding will enable Armenian businesses across the country to invest in growth, improve competitiveness, and adopt more sustainable practices. According to the announcement, this represents the ADB's largest private sector transaction in Armenia to date.
The initiative aims to strengthen Armenia's business ecosystem by providing capital and resources to enterprises seeking to modernize operations and transition toward environmentally responsible practices.
