AMAA to Honor Two Leaders at 107th Annual Banquet
AMAA to hold 107th Annual Meeting Banquet honoring two distinguished leaders
The Armenian Missionary Association of America will host its 107th Annual Meeting Banquet on October 17, 2026, in Teaneck, New Jersey. The event will honor Rev. Dr. Vahan H. Tootikian, former executive director of the Armenian Evangelical World Council, and Nurhan Helvacian, Ph.D., former AMAA treasurer.
Rev. Dr. Tootikian, of Royal Oak, Michigan, served as executive director of the Armenian Evangelical World Council for over 25 years. A theologian, scholar and author of more than 50 books, he has held pastoral positions in churches across the Middle East and United States.
Dr. Helvacian, of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, served as AMAA treasurer for 10 years and brings expertise in economics and financial management. He has held academic and professional positions at institutions including the New Jersey Institute of Technology and IBM.
