International Armenian Literary Alliance Announces 2026 Mentorship Cohort

The International Armenian Literary Alliance has unveiled the participants for its sixth annual Mentorship Program, running through August 31, 2026. The program includes 14 mentees working in poetry, fiction, nonfiction and literary translation, paired with 14 published authors serving as mentors.

Mentees include Evita Arakelian, Arev Dinkjian, Vika Dzhobadze, Sona Gevorgyan, Tatev Mirzayan, Julie Mitchell, Olivia Mouradian, Barig Nalbantian, Margo Sargsyan, Nazareth Seferian, Nairi Simonyan, Lela Tolajian, Terenig Topjian and Saro Varjabedian. Mentors include Liana Aghajanian, Tatevik Ayvazyan, Nyri A. Bakkalian, Tamar Marie Boyadjian, Ariel Djanikian and others.

Participants will engage in virtual meetings focused on the writing craft, publishing industry navigation and the writing life. The program concludes with an Emerging Writers Showcase featuring mentees' work.
