German Bundestag delegation visits Armenian Genocide Memorial

A delegation from Germany's Bundestag, led by Johannes Volkmann, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on June 30. The group included lawmakers from both the ruling coalition and opposition parties. During the visit, delegates laid a wreath at the memorial and observed a moment of silence at the Eternal Flame to honor genocide victims. Hrachya Tashchyan, acting director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, welcomed and guided the delegation throughout their visit. The visit underscores continued international recognition of the Armenian Genocide by high-level government officials.
