Georgian Interior Minister Tours Armenia's Emergency Management Center
Georgian Interior Minister visits Armenia’s 112 Operational Management Center and Patrol Service
Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili visited Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs on Monday, touring the 112 Operational Management Center and Patrol Service administrative complex alongside Armenian Deputy Minister Armen Mkrtchyan.
During the visit, the delegation reviewed Armenia's European-standard 112 emergency call system, which consolidates calls from rescue services and police into a unified platform. Officials also briefed the Georgian minister on the citizen reception unit, administrative proceedings department, and complaints review division.
The tour included the complex's training facilities—armory, shooting range, and gymnasium—used for patrol officer preparation. The delegation examined equipment and technical capabilities of electric patrol vehicles operated by the Yerevan Patrol Regiment.
The visit reflects ongoing security sector cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
