Armenian Bar releases report advancing U.S.-Armenia cooperation
The Armenian Bar Association has published a major report from its Intellectual Property and Information Technology Committee examining how Armenia can expand access to U.S. technologies and strengthen legal frameworks for innovation and investment.
The report, the third from the TechLaw committee, provides recommendations to address export control barriers and promote compliance measures in U.S.-Armenia technology partnerships. It aligns with an August 2025 U.S.-Armenia Memorandum of Understanding on AI and semiconductor innovation.
The committee's work builds on more than a decade of engagement with IP and technology law issues in Armenia. Previous reports examined intellectual property protection and corporate law reforms in 2019 and 2023. The association organized an expert discussion to examine the report's findings and explore cooperation opportunities between Armenia's and the global Armenian legal, technology, and business communities.
