Armenian delegation holds economic talks in Italy to boost exports to Europe

An Armenian government delegation held economic talks in Italy on July 20-21 to advance Armenian companies' entry into European markets. Led by Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetisyan, the delegation included Armenia's Ambassador to Italy Vladimir Karapetyan and Gohar Abajyan, Director of the Investment Support Center Foundation.

In Venice, officials met with the CONFAPI Venice Business Association and Prefect Darko Pellos to discuss expanding bilateral economic cooperation and promoting Armenian products in Europe. Subsequent meetings in Rome with Italy's Ministry of Agriculture, Fruitimprese association, and the Italian Trade Agency focused on agri-food sector cooperation and facilitating Armenian product entry into the Italian market.

Participants agreed to maintain working-level contacts to advance discussed initiatives toward implementation.
