Armenia held a 24-hour hackathon focused on large language models on August 8–9 at AI9 Startup Campus, bringing together developers, researchers, students and AI specialists to create practical solutions for the country. Supported by Armenia's Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Agency of Digital Government, participants worked in teams to develop prototypes evaluated by a jury including officials from OpenAI and local tech companies.
Winning teams received prizes in OpenAI API credits: $12,000 for first place, $7,500 for second, and $5,000 for third. Eleveight AI provided an additional $5,000 prize in GPU computing resources.
