Armenia and Iran to Establish Joint Energy Working Group
Iran and Armenia to Establish Joint Energy Working Group

Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan met with Iranian officials in Tehran to discuss establishing a joint energy working group between the two countries.
The initiative aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation on energy matters, a significant development given Armenia's strategic position in the South Caucasus and its historical energy ties to Iran. The working group would facilitate coordination on energy policy, infrastructure projects, and trade.
This agreement reflects Armenia's efforts to diversify its international partnerships and strengthen regional economic ties during a period of geopolitical transition in the South Caucasus.
